Frequently asked
Which file types are supported?
Photos in JPEG, HEIC, PNG and WebP, on every plan. On Pro and Max, videos are backed up at original quality and RAW camera files (DNG, CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, RAF, ORF, RW2) are kept as originals. We make previews for viewing and never change your originals. On iPhone, ProRAW photos are backed up as the processed photo for now.
Where are my photos stored?
On S3-compatible object storage with a per-user key prefix. Your photos are never visible to other accounts.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. At the end of your billing period your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted: everything you've backed up stays viewable and downloadable, even if it's more than the free 5 GB. While you're over the free storage, new uploads pause until you free up space or upgrade again.
How does AI search work?
We use OpenAI's CLIP model to encode your photos and your search queries into the same vector space. The match runs against your own library only.
Can I export all my photos?
Yes — in Settings, choose “Download all my data”. We prepare a ZIP of your originals and their metadata and email you a download link, valid for 7 days.
